Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 unit red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 medium carrots (sliced thinly)
  • 1 cup snow peas

Sauce & Flavorings

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root (freshly grated)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Garnishes

  • 2 tablespoons green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Heat sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken strips and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add garlic, ginger, and vegetables; stir-fry for 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Stir in soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes; cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Garnish with green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and ginger for 15 minutes before cooking.
