This delicious and creamy garlic chicken recipe is quick to prepare and perfect for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Breading

  • as needed Flour (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter (split)
  • 1 head whole garlic (cloves peeled)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Optional Garnish

  • as desired Chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat with flour.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté peeled garlic cloves until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add chicken broth, lemon juice, garlic powder, and remaining butter. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes. Return chicken to the skillet to coat with sauce.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer to deepen the taste.
