Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless, skinless chicken breast (2 pieces)
  • 0.25 cup plain flour
  • 3.5 tablespoons unsalted butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or clear vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon light or all-purpose soy sauce
  • 0.33 cup honey or maple syrup

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat with flour.
  • Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in vinegar, soy sauce, and honey; cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
