A delicious appetizer combining sweet fig jam, crunchy walnuts, and creamy Iberico cheese on toasted baguette slices.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 piece baguette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fig jam
  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 150 grams iberico reserva cheese (sliced)
  • honey for drizzling honey

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
  • Slice baguette into 1 cm slices, place on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Toast walnuts in a pan over medium heat for 5-8 minutes, then mix with fig jam.
  • Spread fig-walnut mixture on toasted baguette slices, top with cheese, and drizzle with honey.
