A refreshing and fruity iced tea perfect for hot days, combining the sweetness of peaches and raspberries with a hint of mint.

Ingredients

Fruit and Syrup

  • 1 cup sliced peaches (about 2 medium peaches)
  • 1.5 cups fresh raspberries (could also use strawberries or blackberries)
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Tea

  • 3 family-sized tea bags Luzianne tea bags (recommended)
  • 6 cups hot water
  • 6 cups cold water

Garnishes

  • to taste lemon slices (for serving)
  • to taste fresh mint (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Make syrup by boiling peaches, raspberries, sugar, and water; simmer 7-10 minutes until soft and fruit breaks down.
  • Strain the mixture to extract syrup; press gently to get all liquid, then cool.
  • Brew tea by steeping tea bags in hot water for 3 minutes; remove bags and add cold water to cool.
  • Mix cooled syrup into the tea; chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve over ice with lemon slices, raspberries, and mint leaves.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and garnishes to taste for best flavor.
