A refreshing and icy strawberry lemonade slush perfect for hot days, combining fresh fruit, lemon, and a fizzy topping.

Ingredients

Fruits and liquids

  • 120 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3-4 medium lemons)
  • 300 g frozen strawberries (unsweetened, no need to thaw)
  • 480 ml cold water
  • 65 g granulated sugar (to taste, about 1-2 tablespoons)
  • 260 g ice cubes (as needed for thickness)
  • 240 ml lemon-lime soda or club soda (optional, chilled, for topping)

Garnishes

  • 1 cup lemon slices (optional garnish)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (optional garnish)

Instructions 

  • Pour water and lemon juice into blender, add sugar, and blend 10-15 seconds to dissolve.
  • Add frozen strawberries and blend until mixture is pink and even.
  • Add 3 cups of ice and blend until thick and slushy; stir and add more ice if needed.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness with more sugar or lemon juice as desired.
  • Pour into glasses, top with soda if desired, garnish with lemon slices and strawberries, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a more fizzy drink, top with lemon-lime soda just before serving.
