A rich and creamy garlic beef pasta that combines tender ground beef, flavorful sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 ounces pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your favorite)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) (for a bit of heat)
  • 1 can 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  • Add chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute.
  • Pour in diced tomatoes and beef broth, simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in heavy cream. Add cheeses and stir until smooth, adding pasta water if needed.
  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to coat, and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot for the best flavor.
