Enjoy a spicy, garlicky shrimp dish with bold flavors and a quick, easy preparation.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 Lb jumbo shrimp
  • Salt/pepper to taste Salt and pepper (to season shrimp)
  • 3-4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 medium red chilis (or 4 birdseye chilis, thinly sliced with seeds)
  • 2 teaspoons parsley (finely chopped)
  • 4 tablespoons sweet garlic chili sauce

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook shrimp 1 min per side, then set aside.
  • Deglaze skillet with water, add garlic and chilis, cook 30 sec, then add chili sauce.
  • Return shrimp, toss in sauce 1-2 min, then remove.
  • Add butter and parsley to sauce, simmer 1-2 min, then pour over shrimp and serve.

Notes

Adjust chili amount for desired spice level.
