  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1.25 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into cubes
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 12 ounces green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, Parmesan, ¼ tsp garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Coat chicken.
  • Heat oil in skillet. Cook chicken 4–6 mins per side until golden. Remove.
  • Simmer lemon juice, garlic, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning until reduced. Add butter, swirl until melted.
  • Cook lemon slices and green beans 3–5 mins. Season with remaining garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Return chicken to skillet or plate. Drizzle with lemon butter sauce and serve.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the chicken for best juiciness.
