This Garlic-Parmesan Melting Cabbage is a savory and satisfying dish that combines tender roasted cabbage with fragrant garlic and melted Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage (cut into wedges)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the cabbage into wedges, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Place cabbage on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and crispy.
  • Add minced garlic in the last 5 minutes of roasting.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and return to oven for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
