Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (About 1.5 lbs total)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt salt
  • to taste pepper pepper
  • 2 medium zucchini (Sliced into rounds)
  • 1 piece red bell pepper (Sliced into strips)
  • 1 piece yellow bell pepper (Sliced into strips)
  • 1 piece red onion (Cut into wedges)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (Optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Mix BBQ sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to make marinade. Marinate chicken for at least 10 minutes.
  • Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Grill vegetables for 8-10 minutes until tender and charred.
  • Remove chicken and vegetables, let chicken rest, then slice and serve with grilled veggies.

Notes

Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Dried herbs are optional but add flavor.
