Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts (cut into small chunks)
  • 4 pieces chipotle peppers
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil (plus more for cooking)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (adjust to taste)
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste, optional)
  • 0.25 cup water (as needed)

Vegetables

  • 4 pieces burrito-sized flour tortillas
  • 1 small head romaine lettuce (thinned sliced)
  • 1 small red bell pepper or tomato (deseeded and diced)
  • 1 small red onion (finely diced)

Cheese & Sauce

  • shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • Blend chipotle peppers, sour cream, lime juice, honey, oil, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne until smooth.
  • Marinate chicken with the sauce, refrigerate for 1-2 hours, then bring to room temperature.
  • Cook chicken in a skillet with oil until fully cooked, adding water if needed to prevent drying.
  • Prepare veggie mixture with lettuce, bell pepper, and onion. Assemble wraps with chipotle crema, cheese, veggies, and chicken, then fold and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the wraps before serving.
