Deliciously crispy chicken wings coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2.5 pounds Chicken Wings (Approximately 24 pieces)
  • 1/4 cup Flour or Gluten-Free Flour
  • to taste Sea Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 1 spray Olive Oil or Avocado Oil Spray
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos
  • 4 cloves Garlic (mashed)
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Tapioca Flour, Arrowroot Starch, or Corn Starch
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Dry wings and coat with flour, salt, and pepper.
  • Arrange wings on a lined baking sheet, spray with oil, and bake for 30 minutes. Flip and bake another 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, starch, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan. Heat and stir until thickened, about 6-7 minutes.
  • Broil wings for 2 minutes to brown. Remove from oven, toss in sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure wings are thoroughly dried before baking.
