Ingredients

Meat

  • 8 pieces chicken thighs
  • 2 pieces lemons (zest of 2 lemons) (zest of 2 lemons)
  • 1 piece lemon (juice of 1 lemon) (juice of 1 lemon)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp mustard powder

Instructions 

  • Season chicken thighs with lemon zest, salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, paprika, garlic powder, and mustard powder.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  • In a small bowl, mix lemon juice and honey. Pour over cooked chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes to glaze.
  • Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken with lemon zest and spices for 30 minutes before cooking.
