Ingredients

FOR THE MOUSSE

  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

  • to taste salt

FOR THE TOPPINGS

  • as needed Whipped cream (homemade or store-bought)
  • as needed Mini marshmallows
  • as needed Chocolate curls or shavings
  • optional a light dusting of cocoa powder or cinnamon

Instructions 

  • Melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  • Whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and salt; beat until stiff peaks.
  • Gently fold the cooled melted chocolate into the whipped cream until blended.
  • Spoon into glasses, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate curls, and dust with cocoa or cinnamon before serving.
