Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil
  • 1/3 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon coarse Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Sauce

  • 6 tablespoons Franks Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted Butter; melted
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Parsley; chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Oil wire rack with avocado oil and set on baking sheet.
  • Mix cornstarch, baking powder, and seasonings in a bag. Coat chicken wings and place on rack.
  • Bake wings at 400°F for 20 minutes, then brush with oil and bake another 20 minutes until crispy.
  • Combine hot sauce ingredients in a bowl. Brush wings with hot honey sauce, then broil for 5 minutes.
  • Remove wings, baste with remaining sauce, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F for safety.
