Instructions
Mix lemon zest, black pepper, salt, brown sugar, garlic powder, and citric acid in a bowl.
Coat the thawed wings with the dry rub mixture.
Cook wings by baking at 400°F for 30-40 minutes or grilling for 15-20 minutes, flipping once.
Combine melted butter, hot sauce, honey, salt, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chili flakes in a bowl.
Toss cooked wings in the hot honey lemon sauce and garnish with extra lemon zest.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil the wings for the last 2-3 minutes.
