Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant and mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese and thyme. Stir well and simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine cooked pasta with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
