Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken fillets
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, season chicken, and sauté for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove chicken.
  • Add onions to the skillet, sauté for 3 minutes, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Stir in rice, add chicken broth, bring to a boil, reduce heat, return chicken, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add heavy cream and peas, stir gently, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in herbs before cooking.
