Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (Ensure they're thoroughly dried.)
  • 2 eggs Large Eggs (for binding)
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (Can substitute with gluten-free flour.)
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch (Enhances crunchiness.)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (Optional but recommended.)
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika (Use regular paprika for milder taste.)
  • to taste Salt (Basic seasoning.)
  • to taste Pepper (Basic seasoning.)
  • 1/2 cup Canola or Vegetable Oil (Ensure deep enough for frying.)
  • 1/3 cup Hot Honey (Mix honey with hot sauce (1 part hot sauce to 3 parts honey).)

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and cut into tenders.
  • Whisk eggs in a bowl. In another, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge chicken tenders in egg, then coat with flour mixture.
  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry tenders until golden and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
  • Drain fried tenders on paper towels. Toss with hot honey glaze before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, double coat the chicken in flour mixture.
