  • 2.2 lbs chicken wings, patted dry
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons gochugaru (Korean Chilli Powder)
  • 120 ml light soy sauce
  • 100 grams light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon white rice vinegar

Instructions 

  • Cut wings at the joint, clean in lemon-vinegar water, and dry thoroughly.
  • Season wings with salt, then mix onion, garlic, ginger powders, black pepper, and chili powder. Coat wings with seasoning.
  • Marinate in fridge for at least 1 hour. Toss with corn starch and oil before baking.
  • Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F). Arrange wings on a lined tray and bake for 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 20 minutes until crispy.

Ensure internal temperature reaches 73°C (165°F) for safe consumption.
