A flavorful and easy-to-make chicken and asparagus dish infused with lemon, dill, and garlic, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Oil

  • 1 tablespoon oil

Asparagus

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed

Butter

  • 3 tablespoons butter

Chicken

  • 1 pound chicken, boneless and skinless, butterflied
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper

Garlic

  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped

Red Pepper Flakes

  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

Chicken Broth

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Lemon

  • 1 lemon lemon, juice and zest (about 1/4 cup juice)

Dill

  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dry dill)

Instructions 

  • Heat oil in a pan, cook asparagus until tender, then set aside.
  • Melt butter, cook chicken until golden, about 3-5 minutes per side.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in broth, boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in lemon juice and dill, serve and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with additional dill or lemon slices.
