A flavorful and easy-to-make pasta dish featuring tender chicken, zesty lemon, and aromatic garlic in a buttery sauce.
Ingredients
For the Pasta:

fettuccine or spaghetti
For the Chicken:

boneless, skinless chicken breasts
For the Sauce:

unsalted butter

garlic, minced

lemon, juiced and zested

chicken broth

Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side until golden. Rest and slice.
In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
Pour in chicken broth, bring to simmer. Add pasta and toss to coat, adjusting with reserved pasta water as needed.
Add sliced chicken, mix, and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
