A flavorful and juicy chicken dish infused with lemon and garlic, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for juicier flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (or butter for a richer taste)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color and mild spice)
  • 1 tablespoon flour (to thicken the sauce)
  • Juice of 2 fresh lemons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey (for a light sweetness)
  • Fresh parsley chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet, sear chicken 4–5 mins per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, cook garlic 30 sec, add flour, then slowly whisk in broth. Add lemon juice, zest, and honey; stir until thickened.
  • Return chicken to pan, coat with sauce, simmer 5 mins.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken with lemon and garlic beforehand.
