Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Dairy & Fats

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter

Aromatics & Condiments

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Herbs

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

Additional

  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high.
  • Cook chicken in batches 3–4 mins per side until golden. Set aside.
  • Melt butter, add garlic, cook 30 sec. Stir in mustard, lemon juice, zest, spices, and herbs.
  • Return chicken to skillet, toss in sauce, simmer 1–2 mins. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for best flavor. Adjust seasoning as needed.
