Delight in these soft, sweet cinnamon rolls filled with pecans and drizzled with maple glaze for a perfect breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 4.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 packets Fleischmann’s® RapidRise® Instant Yeast ((about 4 1/2 tsp))
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, room temp
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

Filling & Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp water to thin (optional)

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt; add water and butter, then knead until smooth.
  • Let dough rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  • Roll out dough, spread with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans; roll up and cut into slices.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until golden.
  • Mix powdered sugar with cream and maple syrup to make glaze; drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

For best results, use fresh yeast and measure ingredients accurately.
