  • 4 filets center cut salmon fillets (6-8 ounces each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary (or 1/4 teaspoon dried)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons stone ground or dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Garnish

  • Fresh rosemary and sliced tangerines

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season salmon with paprika, salt, pepper, and olive oil; bake for 15-16 minutes.
  • Toast pecans in a skillet with oil until fragrant; add maple syrup, orange juice, salt, and mustard; simmer until thickened.
  • When salmon is cooked, spoon the maple pecan glaze over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh rosemary and sliced tangerines if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure not to burn the pecans while toasting for best flavor.
