A rich and sweet pecan pie infused with pure maple syrup, perfect for special occasions or cozy desserts.
Ingredients
Dough

Filling

pure maple syrup

Instructions
Prepare the pie crust by mixing flour, sugar, salt, and butter, then add ice water to form dough. Chill for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough and fit into a pie dish, then pre-bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes.
Combine butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, salt, eggs, and extract; then stir in toasted pecans.
Pour filling into pre-baked crust and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes until set.
Let cool, then sprinkle with finishing salt and serve with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For a crunchier crust, blind bake the crust for 10 minutes before adding the filling.
