Instructions
Remove chicken from fridge and preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season chicken with salt and pepper, then roast in a pan for 1 hour 15 minutes, basting with glaze every 5 minutes.
Prepare glaze by simmering maple syrup, mustard, orange juice, thyme, and butter until slightly thickened.
Rest the chicken for 10 minutes, carve, and serve with roasted vegetables.
Optional: Brown vegetables further in the oven while chicken rests.
Notes
Ensure to baste the chicken regularly for a glossy, flavorful glaze.
