Ingredients

olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

vegetables

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

ground beef

  • 1 pound ground beef

spices

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¾ teaspoon salt

tomato sauce

  • ¼ cup tomato sauce

herbs

  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped mint

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté diced onion until translucent, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned, then stir in spices.
  • Pour in tomato sauce, simmer for a few minutes to blend flavors.
  • Turn off heat, stir in chopped parsley and mint, then serve.
