can black beans, drained and rinsed

Water if mixture is too dry
Toppings

Lettuce
(butter, romaine, iceberg, etc)

jalapeno peppers (raw or pickled)

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground meat and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, onion, and garlic powders. Mix well.
Add diced onion and cook until tender. Stir in green chilis and black beans, warming through. Add water if mixture is dry and simmer briefly.
Serve beef mixture over lettuce in bowls, then top with your favorite toppings and serve.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, skip the meat and add more beans or vegetables.
