Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Wet ingredients

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup whole milk

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  • Whisk dry ingredients together and set aside.
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  • Divide batter into liners and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
