A comforting and easy chicken casserole that cooks in one dish, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken fillets
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water in a bowl.
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour in the mixture.
  • Place chicken on top, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle onion soup mix.
  • Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
