A quick and flavorful one-pot meal combining tender steak, pasta, and a creamy tomato sauce, perfect for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb steak, sliced thin (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • optional Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Cook sliced steak until browned, then set aside.
  • Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until softened. Add beef broth, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed. Return steak to the pot and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  • Adjust seasoning if needed, garnish with herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon or a dash of hot sauce before serving.
