Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pounds chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter (diced)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9x13 inch dish.
  • Pound chicken to 0.5-0.75 inch thick, rub with olive oil.
  • Mix seasonings, sprinkle over chicken, then rub in.
  • Place chicken in dish, top with butter slices, bake until internal temp reaches 165°F (about 18-20 min), then broil for 1-3 min until browned.
