A refreshing and flavorful iced tea combining ripe peaches, fresh basil, and black tea, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
Water

water
(for boiling and steeping)
Tea

loose black tea
(or 3 tea bags)

ripe peaches

(pitted and sliced)

fresh basil leaves
(gently bruised)

Instructions
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat and steep tea for 5 minutes.
Slice peaches and bruise basil leaves; strain tea and stir in peaches, basil, and honey until dissolved.
Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and basil sprigs if desired.
