Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease baking dish.
Peel and chop pears, then mix with syrup, lemon juice, cornstarch, vanilla, and spices.
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and flour to make crumble topping.
Pour pears into dish, top with crumble, and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden.
Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use slightly underripe pears for best texture.
