Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat chicken dry and place in a baking dish.
Mix spices and rub onto chicken with olive oil. Arrange pineapple around chicken and coat with 1/4 cup barbecue sauce.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Prepare glaze by mixing remaining barbecue sauce, pineapple juice, honey, and vinegar.
Remove foil, brush glaze over chicken and pineapple, bake uncovered for 10-15 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes for caramelization.
Rest for 10 minutes, then garnish with green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken with spices overnight.
