A moist and flavorful pumpkin loaf infused with maple syrup and crunchy walnuts, perfect for fall baking.

Ingredients

Dairy and Eggs

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup pumpkin

Nuts

  • 100 gm. walnuts (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Beat butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and maple syrup, mix well.
  • Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to wet mixture. Mix in pumpkin, sour cream, and walnuts.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes; cool before removing from pan.
