Ingredients

Cake and Frosting

  • 1 can pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 4 eggs eggs
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup whole milk, room temperature
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Spice Cake Mix
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting (more if needed)
  • 12 oz orange candy melts
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons shortening, butter or oil
  • 26 miniature chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Mix pumpkin, eggs, melted butter, and milk; then add cake mix, sugar, and spice. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 mins, then cool.
  • Crumble cooled cake, mix with frosting until firm enough to roll into 26 balls. Chill if too soft.
  • Shape cake mixture into balls, insert sticks coated in melted candy melts, and chill for 15-20 mins.
  • Melt candy melts with shortening, dip cake pops, and add mini chocolate chips for stems. Let set before serving.

Notes

Ensure cake mixture is firm enough before shaping. Chill if necessary for easier handling.
