A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining tender chicken and crisp cabbage with savory sauces.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper finely diced
  • 1 orange pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Slice chicken, onion, and orange pepper; mince garlic; dice jalapeño; shred cabbage.
  • Melt butter in a skillet, cook chicken with salt and pepper until browned (5-7 min), then remove.
  • Sauté onion until soft (3 min), add garlic and jalapeño; cook 1 min.
  • Add cabbage and orange pepper; stir-fry 5-7 min until tender-crisp.
  • Pour in chicken stock, oyster sauce, soy sauce; stir to coat vegetables.
  • Return chicken, cook 2-3 min until heated through.

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor and adjust seasoning as needed.
