Instructions
Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Dice chicken into 1.5-inch pieces, season with salt and garlic powder, then coat with cornstarch.
Fry chicken in hot oil until golden and crispy, about 4-6 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
Stir-fry onions, bell pepper, and pineapple for 30-45 seconds, then add sauce and simmer until thickened.
Add fried chicken to the sauce, toss to coat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve.
Notes
For extra crispiness, increase frying time or use an air fryer.
