Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups cups oat flour (175g)
  • ½ cup cups almond flour (60g)
  • 2 teaspoons teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon cinnamon

Wet ingredients

  • ¾ cup ml unsweetened plant-based milk
  • ⅓ cup ml maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup ml melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon + 3 tablespoons tablespoons flaxseed meal + water (flax egg) (for binding)
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup cups unsweetened applesauce (120g)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cake pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; whisk to combine.
  • Whisk wet ingredients in another bowl until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry mixtures; stir gently until just combined.
  • Pour batter into pan, bake for 30 minutes, then cool before serving.

Notes

You can add raisins, nuts, or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
