Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Heat cider in the microwave for 1 minute, then stir in butter until melted.
Place halved pears in a baking dish, pour cider mixture over, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Drizzle maple syrup over pears and bake for 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes.
Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cider mixture.
