Instructions
Heat butter or oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 2 minutes.
Add minced garlic and diced chicken; cook until chicken is browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in shredded cabbage, bell pepper, carrot, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper; cook for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
If desired, add cornstarch slurry to thicken sauce; cook for 2 minutes.
Notes
For a lighter version, use olive oil instead of butter and reduce soy sauce slightly.
