A quick and delicious way to enjoy cabbage, sautéed with onions and garlic for a flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 head green cabbage (cored & sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Prep the cabbage and chop the onion.
  • Add butter and oil to a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the onion for 3 minutes.
  • Add cabbage, stir often, and cook until soft (about 10-15 minutes).
  • Add paprika and garlic, cooking for a couple more minutes.
  • Season with salt & pepper and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, allow some browning on the cabbage.
