These soft, chewy mini chocolate chip cookies are quick to make and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth in just half an hour.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment or a reusable mat.
Cream softened butter and brown sugar until light and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
Add egg and vanilla, mix on low until combined. Mix in flour, salt, and baking soda gently.
Fold in mini chocolate chips. Drop teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, spacing ½ inch apart.
Bake for 7-9 minutes until slightly underdone. Cool on sheets to finish baking.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and cool on the sheet.
