Instructions
Mix sourdough starter, warm water, and flour until combined; let ferment for 4 hours.
Add salt, butter, garlic, herbs, and pepper; knead until smooth and elastic.
Shape into a loaf, place in a greased pan, and let rise for 1-2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush loaf with olive oil.
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
Notes
For best flavor, use active sourdough starter and fresh herbs.
