Ingredients

Dough

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • cup granulated sugar
  • teaspoons instant yeast
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • ½ cup pumpkin purée (room temperature)

Filling

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • ½ cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 2 Tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Syrup & Topping

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup dark corn syrup
  • teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup pecans (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Mix dry ingredients, then add cooled milk, pumpkin, and knead until smooth.
  • Let dough rise until doubled, about 1.5-2 hours.
  • Prepare filling by mixing butter, sugar, spices, flour, vanilla.
  • Roll out dough, spread filling, roll up, and cut into 12 pieces.
  • Arrange rolls in pan with syrup and pecans, let rise briefly.
  • Bake at 350℉/177℃ for 40 minutes, then invert onto serving plate.
