Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika

To taste

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Whisk honey, lime juice, soy sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Cook chicken in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • Simmer the reserved marinade in a saucepan for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  • Drizzle the sauce over cooked chicken, garnish with cilantro, and serve.
